The death of Jesus Christ brought fear, discouragement and uncertainty to His followers.
They could’ve gone back fishing in frustration, in search for food or for business to support themselves in the ministry. No matter what their reason was for returning to their fishing boats, their own efforts were futile.
If you are doing something that is not working, what we need in the voice of Jesus to give us divine-direction. God gives them direction they never asked for, just to strengthen their faith and to remind them of His presence.
